Traveling by road from Oaxaca to Puerto Escondido or Huatulco can take more than 6 difficult hours by car and up to 9 very unpleasant hours by bus.

Aerotucán provides morning and afternoon flights between Oaxaca City and the beaches Huatulco and Puerto Escondido.

• Tickets are non-commissionable, non-refundable.
• The one-way adult fare is $106.00 (usd) plus all applicable taxes and fees (IVA 15% and TUA $20.00 usd airport fee, $15.00 issuing fee). Total is $156.90 (usd). Round-trip fare is double that of a one-way ticket.
• For children, ages 2 through 11 years old, the one-way fare is $75.00 (usd) per child plus all applicable taxes and fees (IVA 15% and TUA $19.50 usd airport fee, $15.00 issuing fee). Total is $121.25 (usd). Round-trip fare is double that of a one-way ticket.
• One small child ( sitting in the lap of his or her guardian and under the age of two ) may fly free for each adult paying full fare. Round trip airfare is twice that of one way.
• To change an existing reservation (subject to availability ) there will be a charge of $25.00 (usd) per ticket. Changes may be made up to 8 days before the originally scheduled flight date. After that they are fully non-changeable - as well as non-refundable.
• Charter rates and on-demand services may be available upon request.

Cessna Caravan (208B)

• Luggage: Aerotucan allows each traveler to check luggage up to 20 kilos (44 pounds) total weight. You may take 2 pieces (combined weight of 44 lbs). of average sized checked-in luggage (approximately 54 linear inches*). Carry ons other than purse or brief case are not allowed. Any extra weight has an additional cost; generally in the $30.00 range regardless of weight, but subject to available space. Paid at time of boarding.

*Each bag might measure 28" x 17" x 9"
or 25" x 19" x 11, etc.
